Quiet Saturday

A dreary day outside and inside no one had much energy to do much other than do a like art and crash and watch movies in the afternoon.  Our art and science project consisted of making flowers and placing them in water to watch them bloom.

After we did a few flowers we thought about other things and we came up with dinosaur coming out of eggs... we have been on a dino kick lately.

What fun we had ... also tried an new recipe for English Muffins!  They were amazing!  And delicious!

I also decided to give the local farms a look to see what they could deliver straight to our house. Got lots of veg from one with a salad and more greens...

Made some lovely roast veggies to go with my salad.  I haven’t had potatoes in months and months, so this was a treat.  Sprinkled with slat, pepper, garlic powder and  a little zataar.

And I got some fruits from the other farm... berries, tomatoes and romaine lettuce.  Will put this all to good use over the next couple of days!
