Working right along

My dear husband is spending one more night away, so I will have a bit more time to work on his Christmas socks. I was able to finish one sock last night and cast on for the second this morning. So that would put me at 55% complete right?

I also received one package of yarn:

Just a couple of skeins of Regia and two of Sockotta. Not sure there is anything "planned" for these yarns. But I am sure I will think of something. I liked all the colors, so I am sure I will use them for some good sock projects. Can't wait until my knitpicks order arrives.

What a crazy day. I didn't sleep much past 3am. I tend to worry about little things and keep it inside. It effects my sleep and my eyes felt like they were going to pop out of the sockets they were so sore. I tend to worry about the littlest things that don't really effect other people. I internalize everything. Wednesday is the hardest day at school this year. It is my lightest class day or the week, but I have a special ed class in the morning and yo never know how they are going to arrive at the library. To tell you the truth, they make me nervous. Today I thought things were going to be smooth when they 9 little 5 year old boys entered the room... hings were fine for about 10 minutes then the screaming, hitting, running down the hall and thrashing started. With a lot of help we all made it through the 30 minutes. I am not one for the unknown which is why this class stresses me out so much. Overall they are a nice bunch of boys, but you just don't know when will happen each day. Plus I had two people to interview today for the clerk job in my library. I really don't like taking charge and being the "authority figure" but I have to in order to get the best person in this position.

Needless to say, I am happy to be home and in my pj's! Now I am going to have a little dinner and sitting with my knitting for the night! Hope you all had a lovely day!

Hang in there! Wednesdays are my busiest day at school - 6 sections of 3rd graders. At least with knitting socks you don't necessarily have to use a lot of brain power to get through a few more rounds!

I hope the school days get better for you. Knitting should help relieve the stress, especially knitting in PJ's.
