Rain and the weekend

It has been raining since Friday morning here and my back is paying the price. The wet weather makes my back ache I have decided. Since I really have done nothing else. So pray for sunshine and cold weather. I'll take the cold over the wet!

I have been working hard on my mosaic socks and well they are coming out alright. I'll show a picture tomorrow. I am on the gussett of the first sock.

Marguerite got me thinking about this quiz, so I took it. I rarely do quizzes, but I had to know!

You are 'programming in QBASIC'. This programming
language (of which the acronym stands for
'Quick Beginners' All-purpose Symbolic
Instruction Code'), which is so primitive that
it cannot easily be used for any purpose
involving the Internet nor even sound, was
current more than a decade ago.

You are independent, in a good way. When something
which you need cannot be found, you make it
yourself. In writing and in talking with
people, you value clarity and precision; your
friends may not realize how important that is.
When necessary, you are prepared to be a
mediator in conflicts between your friends.
You are very rational, and you think of things
in terms of logic and common sense.
Unfortunately, your emotionally unstable
friends may be put off by your devotion to
logic; they may even accuse you of pedantry and
insensitivity. Your problem is that
programming in QBASIC has been obsolete for a
long time.

What obsolete skill are you?

Sadly... it is mostly true! :) I made my husband take it and he is "Latin".

Today we are headed to my MIL's art gallery. She is having an open house, plus her b-day was yesterday. So I whipped up some anise and macadamia nut biscotti to give her. She told us no presents, but I know she loves biscotti. It is yummy, especially mine!

I'm off to work on Mrs. Kimble. Not a bad book. It is flying right along.

Thanks for the wonderful comments on my felted clogs. They are almost dry on the inside now. It has been tough with all the rain. I forgot to tell whta yarn I used. I bought 100% wool at ACMoore believe it or now. It was the Natura Wool. It was the only wool at the time, since then they have added Paton's, but I haven't tried that yet. I just fell in love with this color blue! And of course the pattern is from FiberTrends. The pattern is so wonderfully written! I am truly amazed with how it was constructed!

Glad you and your DH had fun with the quiz.

I went back to the quiz and had no problem finding the button to see all the answers. Have no idea how I could have missed it the first time. Good grief!
