There really isn't much. It is summer after all. I finished up a few more hats and mittens:
These last two pairs of mittens make seven total for Ann's Mittenz challenge.
I mentioned that I was working on a pair of socks on size 5 dpns. They are complete now:
They fit well and will be nice to walk around the house come fall. They are think, so I won't be wearing them with any type of shoes unless I have a pair of loose clogs or something like that. I loved the colors even though within the same dye lot, the striping patterns are completely different. Hmmm... I hate when that happens. The yarn is Sassy Stripes by Mode Dea or something like that. I found it in the dollar store believe it or not last summer, so I really could leave it there. These socks are worth the two dollars I spent on yarn.
I cast on for Monkey Socks last night. I didn't get to far really, just past the twisted rib and a few rows into the pattern. They are interesting. I am using some CHerry Tree Hill that I bought a few years ago. I figured this is the summer to read all (or many) the books that are currently in my house on the shelves that I bought because I wanted to read them... and use the yarn from my stash that I bought because I loved it in the store. That is my summer into fall plan. Hopefully I can continue at this good pace. I have gotten through several books already and I am trying to use the yarn for many different patterns.
On tap for today is a Ballet matinee at 2pm and bookclub tonight at 6:30.

You've been so busy knitting these adorable hats - all these colors are a feast for the eyes! And I really love your socks - they will be perfect as warm housesocks when coldness hits again! Beautiful work!
Everything is lovely. You'll enjoy knitting the monkey socks. It's a fun pattern.
I love your plan. I've been trying to knit my stash too but I keep buying at the same time...

Beautiful hats and socks. Everybody is knitting Monkeys right now, and I can see why, it's such a lovely pattern. Unfortunately, reading people's blogs is adding to my must knit list all the time. It's a scary side effect.
Wonderful knitting! : )
